Maha TET 2022 Preparation Tips:
Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test Exam is now a kind of compulsory exam throughout Maharashtra. If you want to become a teacher for Class I to V (Lower Primary Teacher) and Class VI to VIII (Upper Primary Teacher) then you have appeared in the Maharashtra TET exam, all rules/guideline like eligibility, syllabus, etc has been set by NCTE.

Maharashtra TET Exam Date:
The appropriate Government should conduct a Maha TET at least once every year as per NCTE Norms (ncte.gov.in).
The Validity period for MAHA TET Passed Certificate now lifetime (as per TET(Amendment) Guidelines dated 09.06.2021), which was 7 years in previous.
A person who has qualified Mahatet may also appear again for improving her/his score.

How to apply Maharashtra TET Application Form 2022
Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 Online Application form can be fillup from Maha TET official website www.mahatet.in.
Submission of forms – October / November 2022.
Candidates are required to download the Notification Pdf before applying. And Read all Details.
Submission of documents: Candidates are required to upload all necessary documents and testimonials before last date of apply.
Qualification to Apply:
There are two papers in Mahatet Exam known as Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper I: For those who want to become teachers for classes I-V. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII. Paper I and II Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both papers.
Eligibility Criteria has been clearly mentioned in detail below –
For Paper I : 12th / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)/2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Paper II : Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/ 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ 4 year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/ 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

MAHA TET Paper I (for classes I to V) – Lower Primary
No. of MCQs – 150;
Duration: 1 and ½ hours.
Structure and Content
(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
MAHA TET- Paper II (for classes VI to VIII) Upper Primary
No. of MCQs – 150
Duration: 1 and ½ hours.
Structure and Content
(i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) (a) Mathematics and Science teacher: Mathematics and Science – 60 MCQs of 1 mark each
(b) Social studies teacher: Social Studies – 60 MCQs of 1 mark each

MAHA TET 2022 Certificate
The Validity Period of MAHA TET qualifying certificate for appointment will lifetime.
No restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a MAHA TET Certificate.
Aspirants who has qualified MAHA TET may also appear again for improving her / his score.
Application Fee to Apply:
- 500/- for one paper for UR/ OBC category candidates and Rs. 800/- for both (paper 1 & 2)
- SC/ ST/ Differently abled candidates Rs. 250/- for one paper and Rs. 400/- for both the papers.

MAHA TET 2022 Admit Card
The candidates may download their admit cards from the MAHA TET portal and appear for the exam at the given Centre.
Note: Candidates should follow at the time of application form so that no error will happen like name spelling or any other.
Note : Candidates should give weightage to the TET scores in the recruitment process; however, qualifying the TET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment as Teacher.
