Let me tell you there are more than 60 beer gardens and six major breweries around the city.
Did I tell you this? Bavaria Beer is legally considered a food.
The largest beer garden of Munich is in Olympia park hill. Interesting fact is this hills are not made of soil but the rubble created during World War II.
I usually visit this place for its amazing beer and the fact that that the ruins of World War II are still there. Truly, this place lifts your spirits to next level.
- The Eisbachwelle- Surfing can never stop here
Being Landlocked, you don’t expect to see surfing in Munich. You will be surprised to know people here in Munich surf all year round at the Eisbachwelle. A man made a bridge to control the currents of Isar riverwhich flows from the Alps in Austira. Unlike disruptive waves which are massive and changing and not suitable for surfing, Eisbachwelle is only around 1 meter high and 10 meters wide. But it’s always there.
- The BMW headquarters is here in Munich
Also known as BMW tower, it is a high rise building in the Am Riesenfeld area of Munich, Germany.
